The terms on which this site is published. They are short, because the site does very little: it publishes information and links to other people's websites.

1. Who publishes this site

prospectnetwork.online is published by GERONTA SPOL s.r.o., Revoluční 1403/28, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, company number 08081948, VAT CZ08081948, contactable at info@prospectnetwork.online. Using the site means you accept these terms.

2. What the site is for

Prospect Network publishes general information about consumer device security software and about the consumer protections that apply in Australia. It is a reference site. It is not a shop, not a support service, and not the official site of any software vendor.

3. It is general information, not advice

Nothing on this site is professional security advice, legal advice, or financial advice, and nothing here takes account of your particular circumstances. Descriptions of Australian law are general explanations with links to the responsible authority, not legal opinions. If you need advice about your situation, consult someone qualified to give it; for a consumer dispute, your state or territory fair trading office is the practical starting point.

4. Accuracy and currency

We write carefully, link to primary sources, and review pages at least annually — each page shows when it was last reviewed. Even so, product features, prices, subscription terms and vendor policies change frequently and without notice to us. Always check the vendor's own website for anything that matters to a purchasing decision, and treat what you read here as background rather than as a current product specification. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it.

5. Links to other websites

This site links to vendor websites and to Australian government websites. Those sites are operated by other people. We do not control their content, their availability, their terms or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond its relevance to what is being discussed. Some links to vendors are paid advertising, disclosed as such next to the link and explained in full on the affiliate disclosure page.

6. Content and trademarks

The text, layout, stylesheet and graphics on this site are the property of GERONTA SPOL s.r.o. You may read, print and quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial parts of the site as your own.

Norton AntiVirus Plus and all other product names, logos and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. Prospect Network is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Product names appear here only to identify the products discussed.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, from a decision to buy or not buy any product, or from anything on a third-party website reached from a link.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that applies to you under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer in Australia, those rights apply regardless of anything written here, and where we are permitted to limit our liability for services, our liability is limited to supplying the services again.

8. Availability

The site is published as-is and may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove pages at any time, including removing a product page if a commercial arrangement ends.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where the publisher is established. This does not deprive a consumer in Australia of the protection of the Australian Consumer Law, nor of any right to bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction where the law gives them that right.
